MEET Jacob
At 16, I was struggling both mentally and physically. I lacked confidence, had difficulty competing in sports, and was the smallest male in my class. The way I looked began to affect the way I felt, leading to growing self-consciousness and challenges with my mental health.
That summer, I made a decision to change. I committed to learning how to take care of myself, diving into research on training and nutrition. I stepped into the gym, took control of my diet, and started building the version of myself I wanted to become. In just a few months, I transformed from 100 pounds to gaining 28 pounds of lean muscle. More importantly, I discovered a passion for fitness, self-improvement, and the science behind it all.
As my own transformation became noticeable, people began asking how I had done it. I quickly realized I could use my knowledge to help others, which led me to become a certified personal trainer and nutritionist in 2018. I fell in love with guiding people through life-changing transformations, and my passion for fitness gave me a clear path to pursue in college. The more I studied, the more I recognized the power of exercise and nutrition to impact lives in countless ways — and I knew I wanted to help people in every way I could.
That passion led me to earn my Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science in 2022 and become a licensed American College of Sports Medicine Exercise Physiologist. Since then, I’ve expanded my focus to medical fitness, helping individuals far beyond the “traditional” gym crowd. I’ve had the privilege of training clients with cancer, cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, PCOS, autism, diabetes, seizures, heart conditions, and more. My love for science drives me to stay on the cutting edge of research, ensuring I provide my clients with the most effective, evidence-based recommendations possible. I believe exercise is medicine, and no matter your age or condition, it’s never too late to take the first step toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
Eight years into my fitness journey, I created Sector Sprad to bring fitness to as many people as possible. My mission is to make high-quality training and nutrition accessible, no matter where you live. Whether it’s through customized programs, meal plans, or ongoing support, I want to be your biggest advocate — walking alongside you every step of the way. Fitness has transformed my confidence, mental health, and physical health, and I believe it can do the same for you. Coming from a rural background myself, I know how challenging it can be to find the right resources, which is why I’m committed to providing everything you need to finally achieve the transformation you’ve been working toward.
8 years into my fitness journey, I have now created Sector Sprad in order to bring fitness to as many people as I can. I don't want to only be able to help clients in person. I want to deliver the best fitness programs and meal plans to anyone who wants them. Exercise has helped my confidence, mental health, physical health, and so much more. Being from a rural area myself, it is hard to find a place to workout or eat right, but with our help, we can give you everything you need to make that transformation you have been wanting.
I want you to train with me because my approach is never one-size-fits-all. I don’t just recycle what worked for me — I study the latest research and adapt my coaching to fit your needs, goals, and lifestyle. I hold myself to the highest standard of evidence-based practice, ensuring every recommendation is backed by current science. Over the years, I’ve helped clients with hormonal weight gain, diabetes, PCOS, high cholesterol, bodybuilding, and everyday individuals who simply want to get in shape. Not all of us are wanting to be body builders, but we should all WANT to be as healthy as possible for as long as possible.
